About Emma

Emma Wood is a qualified podiatrist with a particular interest in biomechanics and nail surgery. She completed her BSc (Hons) in Podiatry at Plymouth University, where she developed strong clinical skills in routine podiatry, musculoskeletal assessment and minor nail procedures.

Emma is passionate about helping patients understand the underlying causes of their foot symptoms and how even small biomechanical adjustments can meaningfully improve comfort, mobility and long-term foot health.

She particularly enjoys working with gait and biomechanics, using assessment findings to provide practical, easy-to-follow treatment plans. Nail surgery is another key clinical interest, allowing her to deliver immediate and lasting relief for patients with chronic or recurrent nail problems.

Emma aims to create a calm, friendly and supportive clinical environment while delivering straightforward, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs.
